Marketing
Tell people you are coming
All exhibitors should feature the British Shooting Show logo and assets across their social media and marketing channels as soon as they book. It raises awareness of your brand and of your participation in the show.
Marketing your attendance is in your best interest. The more visitors at the event, the more potential customers at your stand. We are working hard to market the show to both visitors and the trade, but we need you to play your part too.
If you don't tell your customers and target audience that you are attending, how will they know? We are promoting the whole event, but you can help yourself by getting involved.
Ready-to-use marketing assets
- Be proactive and advertise your attendance throughout the year. Don't just book and wait.
- The more people we can all attract, the better the show will be for everyone.
- We have done the hard work for you – graphics sized for stories, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, your website and print. Quick, easy and free.
Help us help you by promoting the show from the very moment you book. Yes, we mean now.

- On arrival there are two CDM check-in points: one at the N10 car park and one at the Hall 5 main entrance. You will be asked to review the site rules and sign in to confirm you accept them.
- Once signed in you receive a wristband, to be worn at all times during build and break-down. It allows access through any VE door. Anyone without one will be directed to a check-in point.
- Anyone operating in the rear of the halls must wear a high-visibility jacket as a minimum, which exhibitors and contractors provide themselves.
- Shell scheme exhibitors: this only affects you if you are constructing within your shell stand. Stand dressing, display cases and moving furniture do not count as construction, but you still need to sign in and follow the site rules.
- Space-only stands become their own mini CDM site within the hall's CDM site. You must ensure someone is responsible for fulfilling any required roles.
Fire procedure
The NEC and the Genting Arena are protected by a sprinkler system and portable fire extinguishers. In the event of a fire emergency:
- Break the glass on the nearest fire alarm point. They are located at each vehicle entry (VE) door, in the organisers' offices, and at key points within the hall and around the main Piazza and Atrium.
- Telephone the Venue Operations Centre on +44 (0)121 767 3333 (internal ext. 3333), giving the location and nature of the incident.
- Calmly notify adjoining exhibitors of the situation and, if it is safe to do so, tackle the fire with an appropriate extinguisher. Keep calm, follow the procedures, and help will arrive as soon as possible.
- Leave by the nearest exit.
