The Great British Shooting Show is the biggest event of its kind in the UK, and every February it draws journalists, broadcasters, photographers and content creators from across the shooting and country sports world. Here's how press accreditation works, what it gives you, and where to find the things you'll need to cover the show.
12, 13 & 14 February 2027
NEC, Birmingham, B40 1NT
Press applications: not yet open
Applications closed
Press accreditation for 2027 isn't open yet
Applications for the 2027 show will open later this year. We'll publish the form, the criteria and the deadline on this page as soon as they're ready, so it's worth checking back or letting us know you're interested now.
A press pass is more than free entry. It's built to make covering three busy days at the NEC as easy as we can.
Entry on all three days
One pass covers Friday, Saturday and Sunday, so you can plan your coverage around the show rather than a single day.
A press point at the show
Collect your pass, pick up show information and find out what's happening across the halls that day.
Exhibitors and brands
Hundreds of exhibitors and the people behind them, all in one place. We can help put you in touch ahead of the show.
Logos, imagery and news
Official show graphics to download, plus show news and stories you're welcome to use in your coverage.
When applications open
How to apply
Three steps. The form takes a few minutes, and the more you can tell us about your outlet and your plans for the show, the quicker we can say yes.
1
Apply online
Fill in the accreditation form on this page with your name, the publication, channel or programme you work for, and what you're planning to cover.
2
We check your details
We'll ask for a recent example of your published work or a commissioning letter. Accreditation is for working editorial media, not for exhibitor staff or agencies.
3
Collect your pass
Once you're approved we'll confirm by email. Bring that confirmation and some photo ID to the press point at the NEC and we'll have your pass waiting.
Applications are reviewed individually and accreditation is at the discretion of the show organisers. Passes are non-transferable.
